11.11.11 Evening Gala - We have
our comedian booked and band for the Posh Frock evening gala fund raising for
OGP. So excited about Simon, joining us, who was a winner at the Edinburgh
festival and contacted us direct to be part of our fund raising event. Simon has suffered from ADHD all his
life and knows that the condition does not go away with age. He was on BBC radio talking about how
he would not have been able to cope taking medical drugs for the condition. I
am hoping to have a good chat with him and get his view of living with ADHD as
an adult and hopefully he would be open to some of the radical techniques we
will be using at OGP. A proposed feature for the web site regarding his
experiences.
We have offers on tickets with a few
spaces left for the evening with a difference. Support us with your presence for a fun and worthwhile
cause. For further information www.onegenerationproject.com
Women’s
health and birth trauma
We are all born and it is the
experience we receive in our first moments of life and zero point that will
dictate our future emotional, physiological and psychological health for
life. Our coping strategies are
formed in the womb together with likes and dislikes. How well we will interact socially, do we feel loved and
nurtured? Do we feel safe?
For the parents but especially the
mother it will remind her of her own birth and younger years of growing and
forming. Did she bond well, did
she have the emotional support in her early years or not. Did she learn how to nurture her
children, how to become a better mom. Is she confident in her new role?
We will be looking at several of
these points on Friday 11.11.11 our fund raising Xmas/Health fair event for One
Generation Project, when I will be giving a talk about Behaviour, Allergies and
causes. Referencing it to my book
Pregnancy & Birth A New Generation or (PBANG) for short.
In the evening of 11.11.11 we are
again fundraising for OGP with a Posh Frock Gala with comedian, dancing and
entertainment tickets can be booked through the OGP web site

As you may be aware I am the founder
of the ONE Generation Project and we are running a 3 day event to support and
raise awareness for this wonderful project to change approaches to health care,
with education, information and social impacts. Raising funds to open our first
centre in North Wales. We aim to take this across the UK, with your support,
through donations, sponsorship and grants.
I believe that it will take a
generation to overcome the demise that we have created through ignorance and
quick fix tactics with a continuing cost fixated approach from government over
the generations. I think we are
all agreeing that things need to change. They have to if we want a different society as the recent riots proved. We have no preventative health care in
the UK. We fire fight and with
that comes consequences of further demise with stress, post traumatic stress
disorder (PTSD) and feeling overwhelmed with life.
We need a whole approach, our systems
and support organisations are fragmented and in arranging our Health/Xmas fair
it has highlighted how disorientated these systems are.
In our OGP centres we aim to help with
a range of programmes. A broader
view to tackle real life causes. To give a multi facetted approach. At OGP we
believe that late intervention is more costly and less effective. Ill health
and dysfunction correlates to adverse experiences in early life and from the womb
this is why at OGP we believe it is imperative to introduce preventative
programmes. Starting early to stop demise before it arrives.
Dysfunction knows no class barriers, the
government approach of throwing finances to get a quick fix does not give the
results we are looking for
Giving emotional support is essential
for recovery together with treatment and a guiding hand to help those who are
lost in the mêlée of red tape and geographic restrictions. I feel the devaluation of the UK has
exacerbated these outcomes for many, I hear the complaints over and over again.
We want to treat all genders and ages, with a core focus on
women’s and children’s behaviour and health issues no matter where they live. For
example: Depression, stress, grief, and ADHD helping to prevent health problems
in the making by supporting through pregnancy, infertility, post natal
depression and birth trauma impacts. With education and information we can re-empower individuals to make
decisions that count to promote self worth and confidence. Therefore gaining in
knowledge and confidence to support themselves and their families.
I believe we could save welfare and
medical practices millions with our radical approach. We as a society have to
take responsibility for what we have created.
We need to start somewhere and the
time is now before it is too late
Support us to achieve a better future
for generations to come.
